The First Advent of the Christ
This first advent is God coming to earth in the person of Jesus Christ. It happened over two thousand years ago in a little town called Bethlehem, in the Middle-East. That baby in the manger was God incarnate; that is, God in the flesh (John 1:1-2, 14).
The God who created us in love became human at Christmas that He might redeem us in love at Good Friday and Easter. To God, we are His family, that’s why we are created in His image and likeness. His coming at Christmas was a rescue mission (John 3:16).
The resurrection of the Christ at Easter is the victory signal that the mission was successful. The chopper, the boat, the rescue crew are all in place now, but you must want to be rescued. You don’t have to pay anything, just signal that you want to be rescued.
The Church has been doing that for two thousand years now, and the search and rescue phase will soon be called off. If you have not secured your place on the chopper or the boat, you will be left behind, and it will be nobody’s fault but yours.
The Second Advent of the Christ
Forty days after His resurrection, Jesus ascended to heaven with a promise to return (Acts 1:9-11). His return is referred to as the Second Advent. It will be significantly different from the first. He is dipected in the Scripture as returing on a war horse, a milk-white stallion, accompanied by an army of saints and angels. If you are one of them that had refused rescue, you will be in the enemy’s camp and that will not go well for you.
We have every reason to believe that the Second Advent is exceedingly close. The warnings are evident but so many people are acting as blind and deaf; we refuse to see, hear, and understand them. I have written two series to walk you through what is coming. I strongly recommend this series of 10 small volumes, “Related Events to the Second Coming of the Christ.” Get it Here. Also read, The Mind/Brain Connection, here.
